The basics
What is HollerHound?
HollerHound gives funeral homes a new website, a 24/7 AI phone helper (an AI receptionist), a chatbot for the website and texting, and Google review requests. It is one service for $297 a month.
HollerHound is run by Cooper, the founder, and is based in Las Vegas, Nevada. It works with funeral homes anywhere in the US.
Who is HollerHound for?
Independent funeral homes, cremation providers and chapels that want every call answered and a better website, without hiring another person or paying a call center.
How much does it cost?
$297 a month. Month to month, no setup fee and no cancellation fee. You can also pay ahead and save.
Do I need a website already?
No. A new website is part of the service. If you already have one you like, tell us on your first call and we will talk through the best way to fit the phone helper and chatbot in.
The AI phone helper
What is an AI phone helper?
It is an AI receptionist that answers your funeral home's phone. It speaks in a calm, natural voice, answers in your funeral home's name, takes messages, answers general questions and books meetings.
Every funeral home gets its own phone helper with its own name and voice.
What happens when a family calls at 2 AM about a death?
The phone helper answers gently, takes the key details, and gets the director on call. You set the rules for death calls when we build it, such as who is on call and how you want to be reached.
It never asks a grieving family about payment, caskets or burial on a death call.
Will it make up prices, service times or policies?
No. It only shares what you have told it. When it does not know something, such as a service time it has not been given, it takes the caller's name and number so your staff can follow up.
Does it sound like a robot?
Call the demo line at (702) 832-5307 and judge for yourself. Pretend you are a family calling a funeral home and see how it handles you.
Can I choose which calls come straight to me?
Yes. You decide which calls go where. Many funeral homes want death calls to reach the director on call right away and let the phone helper handle service time questions, price list requests, vendors and sales calls.
Does it replace my answering service?
It can. Some funeral homes use the phone helper for nights and weekends only, and some use it as the first answer on every call. We set it up the way you already work.
The website and chatbot
What goes on the website?
Your services, your obituaries, your staff, your photos and your words, built around your funeral home and your town. You approve everything before it goes live. You can look at three demo funeral home sites to see the style.
What does the chatbot do?
It answers families on your website and by text the way your staff would: service times, directions, pre-planning questions and how to reach you. It does not quote prices it has not been given.
Who owns the website?
You do. You own your domain, logo, photos, content and contact list. If you ever leave, we hand your site over, either as a copy for your own account or as a full write up a developer can rebuild from.
Google reviews
How do the Google review requests work?
After a service, families can get a short, kind message asking them to share their experience on Google. It is written in your words and only goes out when you decide the family is ready. We never write or post reviews for you.
Getting started
How do I get started?
Book a 15 minute call. We learn how you run things, build the website, phone helper and chatbot around your funeral home, and you approve everything before it goes live.
Is there a contract or cancellation fee?
No. It is month to month with no cancellation fee.
